My favorite soiless mix- promix was on sale. It has been my experience that during winter months it could be difficult to get certain brands since stores do not stock them so I buy it now.

Was very pleased to find that it is even on sale now, so got more for the money.

Also am busy stuffing black garbage bags with leaves. Old leaves and fresh manure my best winning combination for vegetable garden raised beds. I garden in community garden and have to create raised beds every spring. Combination of old leaves and fresh manure covered with little soil creates rich new beds ready to be planted in two weeks.

Just wanted to mention those tidbits, hopefully it could be useful to new gardeners.
