I know these are about H. striatum, but I have a "feeling" that is what yours actually is. Culture should be the same if they do happen to be different.

I'm actually glad to hear they are not the same! I have striatum f3 seedlings so don't need duplicates! I am wondering about the ID of roseum though since I don't find it listed as a species or even a primary hybrid anywhere formal.

There is the possibility that it IS a clonal variety of striatum as there does seem to be some fairly pronounced population differences. DNA testing would have to be done to make positive identification.

Since I did just order one I will get images when I have blooms and post them around and ask some questions of folks I know who are really into the species. Species involvement takes some specializing.
