Let's see the plant before you email him. Sometimes pups can change appearance with maturity, particularly if grown under different conditions. The (Baker) is not actually part of the name, just a way of differentiating it from Przetocki's cultivar of the same name. If Michael only has one of the two, I wouldn't expect him to write the hybridizer's name on the tag. And if he only has one, it seems more likely that he would have Baker's, since that is a US hybrid, but it's hard to say. If the plant you received looks like Przetocki's cross, however, then that would be a clue. I don't see either one on his price list, but that doesn't mean much-- only that he doesn't have very much of it, whichever it is.

I checked the email communication between us and I say "Billbergia Titan (Baker)" and in his reply he used that same name.

That's probably right, it's just been grown heavily fertilized. He does that with a lot of things he doesn't have much of, in order to increase pup production. Apart from that it's got a similar overall look to the one in the link below. If you grow it harder it will color up, and the next generation of pups will be more compact. It's definitely not Przetocki's Titan.
