Well...japie started it!

Here are a few shots of my "neat and orderly" (hah!) yard. Just a collection/mishmash/bunch of stuff crammed together. These are only partial shots, mainly the side yard. The last pic is part of my shaded Till collection. I can post more if you want. Can't let japie think my maid isn't doing a good job! ;-)

You've got huge collection of Tillies there, Gonzer. What are those fluffy silvery clumps at the centre of the pole in the first pic? Good idea of using timber lattice screen as an additonal hanging place for your Tills. Can see more space further at the back for more plants. Future expansion?? ;-)

Mine is more of see where hang there concept. Will take some shots later on.

Very nice Gonzer, you have got a HUGE collection! I like they way you fit them in - wherever there is an open space - fill it up. Japie

Atm, in the middle is a bunch of clumps of T. palacea strung together. It used to be ONE clump until gravity reared it's ugly head. The rail in the background has T. jucunda at the bottom and three large tectorums on the other side. I'll post a pic of those, I think you'd like 'em.

I'll look foward to that. But at the moment, here are part of my collections. I think the uesnoides is invading most of the space. It has becoming like weeds.

More shaded area for the green leaf varieties and some Bills.

Great minds think alike(hope your not insulted by that-ha).I also have just about all the non Broms and Tilandsia's in your photo's and about the same amount of area to work with. The Monsteras and Cibotiums,Kings and Kentia's instead of your Shaving brush palm.Almost the same. And i know we have many of the same xeric type plants that are a bit on the hard to find side.Pachypodiums rule!

As promised, here's my old tectorum, now in two parts. Palacea on left, Enterolobium saplings in front and my Rhopalostylis in back. And Yes stan, Pachy's are pretty darn cool!

Gonzer. I admire your clumps. They are really age old specimen plants. Thanks for the photos.

Your collection is very fine too atm. But Malasia? that's just plain cheating....

Living in the tropics is in no way "cheating", Stan.

I was kidding atm. We all should be so lucky to have a Malaysian climate. GardenWeb needs those emoticons...

No problem with that. Living in the Tropics do have few setbacks though.
I'm very envious of Gonz...tectorum clump. ;-) You should see how my tectorum looks like.

Just imagine it turn green without hairs!!!!
