luxo37 - Sorry, but I don't recognise it. Have you seen it in flower and what were the flowers like? Is that an unopened flower at the rear? Maybe if you post a picture of the flower you could get more help.

There is also the possibility that it could be some sort of bi-generic hybrid, but then as I look at the unusual arrangement of berries I'm wondering if it actually is a bromeliad at all

Looks like something from the herb family. If it werent for the purple flowers I would have said Callisia Fragrans of some sort. But it is not a bromeliad

This doesn't look like a bromeliad to me. Could it be a dracaena? Unusual though. J

Never seen anything like it, but I like it!

I doubt it is a Dracaena, I have never seen one that produced blue berries like that...

How about a closeup photo of the stems....
where the plants are branching off and where the berry stalks are attached to the plant....
and a closeup of the flowers please....

Thank you all for the suggestions. I`ll make closeup photos as soon as I get back in Bulgaria. To me the branching looks like the one of Neoregelia.

The flower/berry spikes are definitely not from a neoregelia....
Are they part of the plant, or just added as a decoration?

They are integral part of the plant.
