Sorry, I really thought that's what this was; looks like my Nobilis anyway. I was just thinking the same thing, abt your maybe trying to reach Aloe Boy abt them.

It looks to me like it's A. nobilis, but I don't have daily contact with Aloes for >2 years, so I don't know nothin'.

My nobilis is a large Aloe - ok, let me rephrase that...the largest in my collection. I'm posting a photo of the two side-by-side and the link will take you to that posting. It's not a great pic, but it gives you a feel for the size difference.

I've just successfully brought an A. marlothii (from Miles) home. If someone asks me if it's an Aloe vera I shall have to beat them with it.

Oweee - that would hurt! Those teeth are wicked. I just put my giant marlothii out on our patio at work and managed to get "bit" a couple times during the journey.

No further comments on my mystery Aloe?
