I think, and it's hard to tell without the full plant, that this is a bloom from Opuntia imbricata. Post a pic of the whole plant as well as a closeup of the bloom. Makes it so much easier to ID.

This is probably the same kind of plant.

AH...I was wrong then. looks like O. basilaris. But the Opuntias are such a incestuous family, it's hard to tell. Love the blooms though.

The spiny cactus seems to be Echinocereus engelmannii.
