Kylie I am holding and hoping on some cuttings too. Before I walk them to the compost pile :-( I had one cutting I just took out of the pot. Cause there was no sign of leaf growth. It had hair thin short dead looking roots. BUT from there somewhere was a new root growing. So YES I am still hoping. If not, my list goes way down. Another BUT, cause I still got SO many AND seedlings, that the panic is growing and growing on where I am going to put them all.

Got to start up that tiller!!! A huge temporarely brug bed just got to do this year.

hmmm a after thought I got to add. Barb I never thought about what folks do with their compost stuff they usually add to it, if there is SNOW??

Unfortunately most of my brugs and other plants will be going to the compost pile this year. When I moved (January) I had dug up all my brugs and other plants and put them in pots. I did not have adequate protection and now I have about 90 pots of dead sticks--brugs-plummies and various other plants. I had made a makeshift greenhouse for orchids and epis and other sensitive plants but lost many of those as well. Will have to start over from scratch this year as finances allow. Still trying to find a job. Will wait a bit to see if any new growth appears before they go in the pile.

Linda I can share Flamenco, Candida double white, Daybreak and Rosenquarz rooted cutting who are growing leaves nicely already, with you.

Write me a e mail if any or all you would like. With your address

I am SO SO sorry you lost it all. But surely we will get you back on your feet rather faster then slower.

    Hugs

A while back I added quite a few rooted cuttings to the compost pile, but I still have some that look good. I also did a lousy job with sowing seeds indoors and don't think I will go that route again -- too frustrating for me when I fail. I opened up the tops of the tray GHs and those darn gnats just came flying out. They have been feasting on my seedlings :-(

Siam Ruby is officially in the compost pile now lol. Good thing I have a few more coming. I think I should of brought that one in sooner. It sure liked to stay warm. Ahh well, I only killed it once so I have 2 more shots at it lol.
