Hi,

this is one of my first two grafts that accually has stuck to the stock. I cut an fresh Opuntia cladoid and placed a cut seedling of Lobivia acanthoplegma on top of it. After one day the scion had stuck to the stock, turned dark purpur and shrunk a lot. Two weeks later it had swelled to at least the same size it had before and got some new spines. It look a lot less darker on the picture then in real life. It is almost black but is growing fine. It is three weeks on the picture.

The other I did at the same time shrunk to about one quarter of the original size before it started to grow again. It is about the same colour.

Is there a way to graft and get green scions also?
