I would love to make a wish on that star. That is beautiful.

Dawn

Beautiful!! I love the geometrics of yours & Al's shots, among others!

~Rosemarie

That's a beauty. It looks big. If so, how did you get over the center for that perfect shot? I scrolled up and down over the image with the wheel of my mouse and the picture does wild things. (I'm easily entertained.) :-)

Al

It's about four feet across and just under four feet tall, so I just stood next to it and held my camera as high as I could - it has one of those swivel screens on it so I can still see what I'm doing...

Here's another shot taken at the same time a few days ago.

Al,
I just figured out what you meant about scrolling the picture up and down and you are right about it doing strange things!
Peyton

Beautiful symmetry Peyton, it's a lovely plant! Thanks.

CP

Looks like it is flip-flopping, pretty cool

Dawn

Hi, Peyton. That's a beautiful Agave. What type of small animal crawled out of that cocoon on the leaf?

Kate

Dear Kate,

Which leaf?

I think I studied each and every one.

Al

:p It looks like a bird dropping to me. :)

~R

Al was scrutinizing the wrong pic, the second one. It's no wonder he's not allowed out after dark.

;-)

OK now y'all have made me go outside in the dark with a flashlight to see if that white spot was a spider nest or a bird dropping...

When my wife saw that photo she said "Oh you should have cleaned off that white spot before you took the picture..."

Anyway, I was just now looking for the leaf with the white spot and I don't know who jumped more, me or the spider...

HeeHaw at Al AND Peyton!!
Glad you solved the mystery for us...in the DARK!

~R

An amazing shot, and it does make your eyes funny when you scroll it. I think i just hypnotised myself into wanting one ;)

So it WAS a cocoon, not a dropping!? I'm not so crazy after all!

Kate

Peyton, first let me say that your photo is magnificent, spot and all. Secondly, you have to tell us, did you go outside in your PJ's to take the spider's picture? LOL
Amy

Thanks Amy, and, well, you asked: not PJs, but boxers.
Peyton

Peyton, your wife should have taken a pic of you taking a pic of the spider in your boxers? :)

Dawn

I didn't realise that this was a porno site 8-))

LOL
