Greetings Bromeliaddicts!

Just a short note to let you know that I've posted some new content, and am working hard to create other articles and interviews for the magazine.

WHATS NEW AT BROMELIOPOLIS:

1. Dutch Remembers

A new column from Dutch Vandervort. In this column, Dutch will share his recollections, pictures, and stories from his early days in the world of bromeliad collectors and personalities, mostly in the Southern California area.

2. GeoParadise

A piece on an art collective using art and music to raise funds for sustainability and ecological preservation projects in Oaxaca, Mexico and Costa Rica.

3. Save the Hortus Botanicus

I received an urgent call from the Hortus Botanicus of VU University Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It is threatened with closure by the Universitys Executive Board. Please support the struggle to keep the Hortus Botanicus open. I have included a link in the article where you can sign the petition.

LOOKING FOR COLLABORATORS:

I am actively looking for help from anyone who wants to write articles on ecology, travelogues, photo journalism pieces, cultivation, plant features of species and hybrids, and anything related to the world of Bromeliads and their habitat. Please let me know if you are interested. I will consider any piece for publication, and do welcome advice and suggestions on what content you would like to see.
