I've been enjoying watch them all develop. I'm waiting to see how some of my favorites bloom, and also evaluate factors such as banding on the top of leaves (more intense banding I consider a plus) plant form, and habit of pupping (Will they make good clumps or hanging basket subjects?)
Feedback from my friends, and input from growers like you is also very valuable. If several people say that they like a specific plant, then that can be very helpful!

The next step in breeding?....
Well, I have quite a few that I'd like to continue to work with, though Mother Nature has set up a few obstacles. One of the plants that had some desirable traits- I knew from last summer that it produced no pollen. Now, as I check plants for berries, I see that it also set no seed. So that one is a total "mule". Another neat little plant appears that it may have "selfed", so that every berry is likely full of F2 seed, rather than having taken the pollen from other plants that I had tried to cross with it. I may plant a few of the seeds, just to see what happens, but I don't want to fuss a lot with F2s.
I remain confident that I'll have a few plants develop that I'll will prove fun to work with for the "next generation" of hybrids!
