Jaga, this Vr hybrid (3rd pic) is stunning! The closest I have to a golden Vriesea, is my phillipo-coburghii sitting high up on a pole in the sun. It has taken the acclimatising quite well and is starting to grow very nicely now. Can't wait fot it to be a nice big maroon tipped, golden clump!

Vriesea "Afterglow"

We will have to wait another 4 years...

Thanks Devo. Very appropriate - it is a stunning plant. I wish we could have access to such nice vrieseas and alcantareas as you guys in NZ!

Japie

My favorite "gold" leaved plant. It gets even better after it blooms.
