I posted this before. Now that it has filled out a bit more maybe it can be ID better. Could this be a M. Aureilanata?

Yep, I think you are right... there are two forms, one with white spines, and the other with golden. A choice plant I must say!

Thanks guys. Hopefully this is a true M. Aureilanata with larger pink flowers. If it has creamy white flowers than it is a aureilanata var. alba. I'm hoping that in the spring/summer I will have flowers.

CP, yes, you are correct. This plant comes in 2 forms, white and golden. IMO, I like the white better.
