Dawn,

Nice cacti you have there. I really like the Noto.

Jen

Very nice!

I have a plant just like the Noto which I put up for I.D. a few days ago and subsequently the name Parodia Conncina came back. I.m confused!!

Newbhoy,

Some Notos are now being called Parodias. It's easy to get confused. I think the ID is correct.

Jen

Yes, Notocactus are being clumped in with the Parodia's now. My plant is actually a Parodia but I have a habit of using the Notocactus name. I should have listed it as Parodia roseoluteus. Sorry for the confusion.

Dawn

Thanks Jen & Dawn
My momentary lapse into confusion has now ceased

Hi Scott!

Your plant's name was Notocactus concinnus before.

Robi

Hi Robi,
Yeah it still is Notocactus/Parodia Concinna and it still looks like Dawn's Parodia/Notocactus Roseoluteus and no I'm not still confused I think?:)
Yes all is well mmm....
Cheers
Scott.

I think these two plants are not the same. N roseoluteus looks like my N submammullosus (without flower, of course). I think your plant is really a concinneus. But hey guy! Wait for it's flowering, and you (or we) can identify better.
Roseoluteus has wonderful pink flowers, concinnus has yellow.
