# 3 is probably a Echinocereus nivosus.

Jordi

This is where I usually say "Polaskia chichipe", but I don't think it is this time. Which means it is some kind of Stenocereus, like S. pruninosus.

The second one looks like a Parodia (Notocactus) butI'm not so good at naming them. P. horstii?

Third one is some kind of Echinocereus I think.

#2 is a parodia of sorts.
#3 how about a Echinocereus reichenbachii ssp. baileyi? Though Jordi saying E. nivosus is a good one.

Dawn

I think #1 is a Pilosocereus, no?

Dawn,

Now I checked my E. nivosus in the yard and found out, they have longer and more irregular spines. Therefore
I think you are right. I also thought of Ecer. reichenbachii v. albispinus at first.

Jordi

Alfonso,
I think the first one is Pilosocereus pachycladus (azureus), like one I recently bought. See my post at the link below. Note ~I misspelled the name in the beginning of that post.

Here is a link that might be useful: my Pilo post

Thank you for the #1 and #3, but what about #2, any clues??
Alfonso

G'day Alfonso. I think #1 is Pilosocereus, possibly azureus as Rosemarie suggests, #2 Parodia comarapana? or mairanana?(comarapana has yellw flowers, mairanana has rusty-red flowers. #3 I'm inclined to agree with Dawn... I think it's the form that was known as E. albispinus, which is now lumped in with E. reichenbachii ssp. baileyi.

Cheers, CP

Number one is Pilosocereus pachycladus, I've grown a lot of these over the years. Nice plants.
