While searching for what my critter is, I came across this one and just got to post this lol

It's not a gecko but looks a bit like a little Bearded Dragon. I don't think it's a dragon but something similar. That little Leopard gecko in the bowl is cute. Mine don't like water, just their little humidity box when they're getting ready to shed or lay eggs. There's a really cool lizard that's all over Central America. They have a big "fan" that they puff out around their neck and they can run across water on their hind legs. The house we stay at in Ambergris Cayo is pretty much in the jungle and is up on stilts. There's all kinds of cool critters around. We went right after the rains one year and there were all kinds of critters swimming under the house. I was kind of freaked out getting to the stairs. lol

I think it's a Western Fence Lizard. I get in my garden and I love them.

It looks like a fence lizard. We had lots of those in Granbury.

I have the same lizards. They are cute and eat lots of bugs. I haven't seen my gecko family this year but the little green chameleon came back with little ones. I love to watch her puff her throat out, lol. Going to get Morgan this afternoon in Austin. Have a good Oma day~

I wish we had more lizards around here but all we have are skinks and they hide under the bark of rotted trees. It wasn't the lizards that freaked me out in Belize. It was everything else swimming under the house. It was the unidentifiable things with big teeth! lol

They are cute little guys that is for sure! I have a family of geckos that lives in the wall behind my porch light. They come out only at night, when the light is on, and catch all the bugs that are attracted by the light.

Pretty sure yours are the western fence lizards. Geckos don't really get the scaly skin like that.

well I love them. They are really the first pair that does not run away. Everytime I was around the house outside....there they were :-)

I'm so sorry Lucy. I have been really busy this week and my brain doesn't function too well when I am under stress, lol. Give me a call in the morning before I go to work. I know once I leave the house I will forget. I have a lot to do after lunch tomorrow. Love you couple of lizards. I had a chameleon in the greenhouse this morning and I made her a deal. If she would invite all her friends to eat I would not spray the poison, lol.

Your lizards are so cool! I bet they will make their home with you. We get little lizard things here. I love them and tell them to eat all the bugs they want. They tease my youngest dog when they are on the patio by the french door. My dog will not stop barking at them. I did find one outside upside down with teeth indents in its belly from my dog I am sure. The lizards we have run away VERY fast if you get near them and they love to climb the brick on the house.

Joyce you know, the Vet ask me if my Cat Amadeus could have eaten a mouse and THAT is blocking his colon. Darn...that cat is such a scaredy cat, he does not even get close to a baby lizzards when it makes it into the house. Now the girl cat Aisha...SHE is the killer!

Oh, boy I hope they weren't in there this evening. I was spraying the front for mosquitoes and fleas and had John do the back. I forgot to tell him to not do the greenhouse and he did that and all the plants too. I hope it doesn't kill my roses and chrysanthemum. It said not to use on those. He sprayed all my plants that weren't near ponds so I hope it dosen't kill any of them! I saw quite a few critters on the brugs when I was stripping them today but they looked much less than there was before. Blasting them has been working well except THey were hiding on the back side of the plant, lol. I had to turn each plant around and sure enough they were all line up in the spots I had been not getting too. Sneaky dang mealy bugs. I laid several of them on the ground and blasted on side then rolled and did it again until I got them all the way around this time.
