Didn't tried it myself, but a couple years ago The Sheridan Nurseries personnel recommended Toronto Civic Centre (now Botanical Garden) laboratory, if I remember right, 777 Lawrence Ave. East, around $10 per test.

Well, you can simply buy the soil testing kit and test yourself. Different areas in your garden may have different pH values.

Sheridan, Canadian Tire, Home Depot may have it.

You can also use the meters. Actually I have two soil testing pH meters which you can also buy at garden stores. I can't remember how much I paid but the cheaper one was less than $20, I think. I saw it this year at Canada Blooms again.
