Mark, you will find this canna listed under many pseudo names. The most common is ÂStriped BeautyÂ. It has been sold as ÂBangkokÂ, ÂChrist's LightÂ, ÂKing of SiamÂ, ÂNirvanaÂ, ÂMinervaÂ, and likely others. It has been in the market place since the 1920Âs and is likely the poorest of the variegated cultivars in my personal opinion. If Kent is referring to the variegation of the leaves, yes, it's not the most impressive. The leaves are actually pin-striped. However, the large yellow blooms with a white streak on each petal always bowls me over. The yellow is so bright that it's hard for me to photograph.

I must recommend Horn Canna Farm too. I buy from them each year. They carry many varieties at low prices. I need to place an order with them, now that I think of it.

I agree with Kent about the variagation but definitely a beautiful plant! The flowers are beyond description. Pure lemon yellow with a white cross. The buds are a hot red-orange.
