Zone 7... tough call

You only lose a bit of elbow greace if you bring them in. That and maybe a couple of days of growth while they recover from the shock

If you have the time, why take the chance?

Then again, if you want an intermediate solution, bring in half :-)

At the absolute least, bring in one of each species.

Wet the leaves thoroughly before you go to bed...when water freezes it releases heat, you can gain 1-2 degrees of protection that way...the leaves may be frosted in the morning and may end up brown anyway, but at least you can help protect the shoot from total collapse.

Farmers protect spring crops and orchards on cold nights this way.

Well trash bag idea didn't work. I should have explained a little better, the pots that I have are urns with a large base, tapered up and then a large pot on top. With the way my lot is they are dug half-way into the ground and moving them would mean digging up the base etc.. Anyway now that whatever leaves and sprouts froze and it's gonna be cold again tonight it's a lesson learned with planting too early.. Just wondering though, the tuber and soil did not freeze, just whatever was above ground, will the tubers recover and grow again or are they bound for the compost pile? Thanks...

If the soil didn't freeze, they should be ok. I had some frost damage a few years ago. Other than the leaves being a little rough looking, they were fine.
