Canna Stutgardt has variegated leaves - mostly green with irregular, large, white streaks. It is happier with a bit
more shade than most cannas. Or so I've read.

You may also give Striped Beauty a try. The foliage is green with very thin, white striping (as opposed to the blocky variegation of Stutgardt). The flowers are actually very pretty (yellow with a white stripe). I have heard that it benefits from some shade to keep it from burning.
