I sure would plant them. I live in Wisconsin and mine are just starting to come up. They are late this year. Guess the weather was too dry and cool for too long. I still have some on order to come this week and will plant them. May not get as tall; if they don't bloom this year, at least the plant will give the roots some nourishment for growth for next season.

It's not too late at all. I still have a few to plant, but is too wet. They should be looking wonderful by the end of August when everything else is pretty tired. Go for it!

I planted some after the fourth of July last year. My uncle had some left over and gave them to me the day before. They grew and bloomed befor August was over.
