I have several of the dappled willows and have found that the pink foliage is mainly visible in the spring when the shrub starts to leaf out. Mine are a very fresh looking green with white varigation right now.

Mine are also beautifully verigated and has some pink in it. I'm wondering if it could be the amount of light it's getting. If it's in a particularly strong sun area. The amount of sun might force it to respond with darker leaves that are more tolerant.

Sometimes reversions do occur you should cut them out. My dappled willow has more pick tints to it in the spring, sure is a pretty shrub.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. mygardens- it is planted in total sun, so maybe that is why all new growth seems to be green? Although , tag says full sun!
onewheeler- I did cut back some of the green fearing that it may be reverting.
Should I trim back this shrub in the spring or just let it do it's thing?
