The way this plant grows is some leaves will have purple some will not some will just have a purple streak. There is nothing you can do to make it have all leaves with purple.

My Cleopatras seem to make more splashes of maroon on the foliage by growing them in rich, moist, well drained soil.I've tried growing in different soil types but leaves weren't as pretty.
