Dried edged leaves?

20 years ago

Hi... Planted some "unknown" rhizomes given to me a few weeks back & they are now producing palm-sized new leaves... Noticed today how very green & healthy they looked EXCEPT for the very outer edge... It is dried & crinkled up almost as tho it has been burned just around the edge of each leaf )o: Does anyone know a cause or fix? Thanks in advance for your help!
