OT - Invasive Ornamentals

Following and ID request posted by Tiffy, I became suspicious about a plant I had in my garden that seemed invasive. I came upon this site that I think might be helpful to many of us:

I was surprised by some of the plants listed. It turns out that I have at least 3 of these plants in my garden, and have offered and distributed seeds in exchanges. The warning about wildflower mixes is very sobering. Hope this helps someone.

Sometimes invasiveness depends on which zone you're in. I have both lychnis and hesperis matronalis and neither have proved to be invasive. However i do have something similar to that bellflower, and i guess zone 3 doesn't bother it at all. :/ My sister-in-law has tried to give me some "poor man's orchid", which i've declined, but she somehow slipped a different bellflower in with something that she gave me. I think she has a mean streak! Time to give her some of my bellflower, eh? LOL
