Hong, your plants are so beautiful! What vine is the 4th picture with white double/triple flowers? What is that yellow/orangy brug (single flower picture)? I love all your roses and hollyhocks. Your crape myrtle looks wonderful!

Karyn, the soil in are kind of sandy in that corner of the yard, I'm not sure why, but 10feet from there the soil are somewhat claydy!
eloise_ca, the vines is a climatis, call duchess of edingburg. the brug is vixen.

Enjoyed your beautiful flowers. Mine are half dead from lack of rain and even watering twice a day isn't helping.
Oh well it's great to see everyone's gorgeous pretties.

Kristy, Normandy is beautiful because it so old. Most of the French there are speaking English, and the American Cemetary are belong to United State, you will see american flags everywhere in that region, I think that is so cool.

Nice, You're in Bakersfield/Southern San Joaquin Valley right? How do you get Peonies to bloom?! I've tried three years in a row with different peonies and they never bloom. They keep coming up in the spring but they never bloom.

    central_cali369,

mine is in morning sun evening shade, it is a old bush, it's about six yrs old plant. I hardly do anything for it, I feed it whenever I feed my brugs. one thing funny about peony is if you planted it deeper than one inch below the soil line, it won't bloom. It like cow manure, I feed mine before the bud get big.

the yellow flower below the nasturtium are nunranculus, it bloom in early spring. that is an old picture. they are fun to grow and easy. I plant them every year, some come back some don't if the corm get to wet in dormant season it will rot. sometime i dig them up and stored them, but most of the time I just buy them when the store offer them. they everywhere in homedepot in late fall.
