Not really. There's no magic to getting a plant to root other than appropriate lighting, moisture, possibly adding some rooting hormone to help it along, and of course time and patience! ;)

I haven't done VFTs yet but Sundews are easy, at least Spatulata and Adelea for me.

I don't use hormones on them, I usually put a clear cover over the pot/container and wait.
