In a nutshell, terrariums are good for CP's that are classified as tropical. Some sundews, some utrics, and tropical (Asian) pitcher plants are appropriate. beyond that, you can get away with sub-tropical plants, but those that are temperates are bad choice for a terraroum.

It all depends on how you keep it. For cold type plants you can keep it outside or in a cold room to help control temps but there are all kinds of methods of handling temps too. A simple terrarium is just a lidded bowl with a potted plant in it. Potted because that way you can remove it anytime to water it or whatever or move it outside or wherever. Just know what the requirements for growing the plants you want to try are first and then check out if a terrarium is something you want to spend the time and bucks to do.

i have a small bug/terrarium that its like 5x9x10 and i have few pebbles on the bottom and shoghan moss and i planted my vft and when i was repotting i had like 3. is this ok will he survive in there... i can always take the lid off and he can breathe with the lid on and put him in a windowsil and i can take lid off and put outside for sunshine...
