I have been taking care of some lovely yellow sarracenia plants. Recently a few of them have contracted scale insects, and without my knowledge, another student in my horticulture class has been spraying them everyday with an organic insecticidal soap. I believe this was for 3-5 days. I know this is very bad for them, and so I've rinsed the plants with distilled water. Is there any way I can save them from damage? Or will this not harm the plant?

It's an s. flava if you wanted to know, and they are very tall and healthy (aside from the scale) at the moment.
