Sphagnum peat moss/perlite or silica sand or all 3. 2/1 or 4/2/1 or anything similar. They don't get BIG! One inch traps and 4-5" leaves are about the largest you will find on a typical VFT. Instead of growing larger they divide and make more plants.

I see, can I just use only one peat moss? Or it is not good? Should be mixed with other else? I have read the book that said VFT can grow to 3 inches trap where they live in wildlife.

Sphagnum alone will retain too much water. 3"?...LOL

Hmm, probably it is best to mix with else. That's what they said. I know it is pretty huge. Sometime they can catch and eat a frog.

I use a 50/50 mix or peat moss and perlite. Some use the LFSM. Repotted mine this spring and they are doing great. Ahhhh, SPRING FINALLY!

Tommy- okay thanks. LFSM- what's stand for? That's great and did they grow more bigger? Haha yeah I'm glad it is spring! I hate winter. Sometime I wish here is 4 spring seasons. Lol
