I have been growing multifida extrema for a few years and have found that they are actually very hardy plants. I have one in a hanging basket and one in a pot. I have heard that it is best to keep above about 50 degrees F (I guess not hard for you now) to avoid dormancy. Mine get part sun and grow well outside in the summer - they will keep popping up new plantlets all year round. My rule of thumb for sunlight is that if they are green and poorly colored they need more sun (should be nice deep red color), and if the delicate tips are burned/no slime they are getting too much sun (or perhaps better to say too much sun in dry conditions - if humid mine take full sun). They have to come inside for the winter and the low humidity stresses them but they always seem to bounce back when I get them back outside in high humidity and light in the summer. Sorry I don't have a picture - I will have to remedy that this summer but they are not very photogenic right now at the end of winter!
