Sphagnum moss hanging basket

On a whim, I bought a pitcher plant from Whole Foods today, without further info on the type. It seems to be a Nepenthes judging from pictures. I transplanted it into a Sphagnum moss hanging basket (I need to redo the mix into peat and perlite mix rather than the potting soil I used when I first got it home). I intend to keep it out of direct sun on the patio until winter.

My question is regarding the pot itself. Is the moss basket going yo be too porous and drying for the plant? Shall I repot in plastic pot?
