I find these quite often on my tropical milkweed and am wanting to know what it is. Sometimes they're whole and other times I just see the white half shell after the insect has left. The only bugs I have on my milkweed continually are assassing bugs (which I kill as I see), aphids and monarch cats, but the egg doesn't match on those. It's quite large when compared to a monarch egg. It's almost pea-sized, typically brownish and white with small spikes. Any ideas?
