Help with pattern mixing!!!!!

I'm just beginning to try mixing patterns in my bedroom and need some advice!!!! We have navy and white paisley bedding, navy and white large scale chevron curtains, and Robbins egg blue walls. I want to add another pattern with a rug but dont want it to be too much. Do I add another color in the rug? Keep with the navy and white? Im really struggling with this! Thanks so much for any/all advice!!!!!!

Those are great! Thanks so much. I love the nautical theme, we are big beach people. Do you think navy and white stripe kind of like the 2nd picture?

Wasn't sure the nautical theme would interest you but if you like, that would be a fairly inexpensive rug. There is another pic of the other side of the bed and wall. Just use the search box and put in "navy blue bedroom" with the dropdown "photos." They have sconces with white coral, pretty neat. I think you can get an indoor/outdoor rug on homedecorators.com. They have great selection and good prices. Even a really big one to slide half way up under your bed from the foot wouldn't cost much.

Not seeing the pics y'all are discussing. I would definitely add color to the blue & white scheme. Red, coral, yellow, or kelly green...

Love the idea of red and coral and especially yellow. Yellow, white and navy look great together. I think you have to go stripes or checks on the rug as they teem with everything. I would not add any navy to the rug, that is for sure. Enough navy already I think. But a yellow and white check rug would really add some life to that color scheme. I'd be tempted to paint the walls a soft butter yellow as well. Robins Egg blue sounds a little too cold to me.

I liked this color combo, which inspired me for the light blue, navy, and white. Does anyone know how to upload pics from an IPAD? That might be more helpful!

Oh and I do have some green accents, just wasn't sure if I should use it in the rug?

What about this in the green, not he light green, the regular. Maybe add some green pillows? Or accent chair ?
