The flowers are not pink, they are peach. It should be green on green variegation. I am not 100% sure, but I think this may be a sport of maya.

Thanks Shawn. I didn't realize it was variegated. I thought the foliage was suffering due to neglect. lol I guess I'll repot it and move it. The only other green on green variegated brug I'd heard of is Emerald Frost.

Axel Rose is a green on green to Karyn.

I thought there was a discussion a while back that Sunspot and Axel rose were the same plant.

I have hard time capturing the varigation in this plant but this is my Axel Rose

Super Big

sunsport is part of my sport collection . it was first noticed in a 3 gallon pot of sunset ,( not maya ) in my fields . it was later planted at my friend mary's house to be trialed for winter hardiness. I just can't imagine how the registery could have gotten so many facts confused , according to the above posted conversation .

i personally collected sunsport from the plant and rooted it for the first time . i see a huge difference in axel rose and sunsport . sunsport always seems to wait till the fall to bloom for me , while axel rose tends to bloom on a more regular rotation . i notice a difference in growth patterens , axel makes a great container plant . once it Y's out it tends to branch and bloom . on the other hand sunsport hates containers and will not bloom . the leaf patterns are almost the same as are the flowers . axel rose and sunsport are not identical plants .

Come to think of it I think I bought my Sunsport from you (Eddie) a few years ago.
