Give it protection--Mine will be taken inside on days when the temps drop in the 20s. Hope yours is potted. Otherwise you will need to mulch heavily and use a frost cloth.

Unfortunately,it's in the ground. Can I dig it up? I have a un-heated greenhouse I could over winter it in.

I don't have any Remay left but I could put a tomato basket over it then cover that w/ some greenhouse film remnants.

I read on ebay that the Calatropis gigantea is hardy to zone 8. So . . . you may be safe. But, I'd still protect it especially if it's your only plant. Fashioning some type of protection out of a tomato basket or cage would be a good idea. Don't know what your lowest temps are, but I'd give it protection below freezing. In Asia, where these plants grow wild, the temps seldom get down to freezing.

I grew about a dozen from seed, so I may experiment and expose a plant to the dropping temps to see just how much cold it can take. I'm in zone 7a, so it gets colder here, than where you are.
