Nice... There is nothing like observing this plants in their natural state.

I had a chance to visit a site near Florence Oregon. Just imagine there were clumps all over that area before they were destroyed when that area was developed. Now this site is the only surviving site.

But boy the Darlingtonias in that site were tall. I posted my visit of that site in this forum.

I saw drosera rotundiflora my first time in the wild a few months ago in michigan on a floating bog in a lake. At first I saw just a couple, but as I progressed into the area I realized there were literally millions of them around me. It was incredible! Nice link too

I wish we had native-growing sundews in Utah. the valleys here are nearly deserts, but the moutains have some good bogs (if the plants could survive the -5f temps during the winter!

Thanks all :) I also recently found out that Oregon hosts Drosera anglica and Pinguicula vulgaris somewhat near where I live. Hopefully I'll be able to make a jaunt to the area before summer is over.
