Better to err on the side of over-watering, for a short time than to not have enough. 3 days in water-logged conditions shouldn't cause a problem.

Yeah a large tray of 1-2 inch water for the Flytraps, Sundews, and so forth will not hurt them in the short run. You can overwater the Nepenthes and Butterworts a little and leave a try under them to catch runoff and make sure the runoff does not go over 1/2 inch. I have done that with my Nepenthes a couple times and forgot to remove the water runoff from the tray for a couple days and it just dries slowly, providing slow watering for a few days. Any Sarracenias can just be placed in a big tray with water up to the half way mark or higher on the pot and that should keep them just fine.

The main problem with waterlogging and root rot occurs if it is a constant overwatering problem for weeks and months. Once in a while it will not harm them, particularly if the plants will be moist, rather than waterlogged, in just a couple days anyway.
