Happy Spring!

Everything is coloring up. I am grateful for the rain we had and warm sunny days! Pierris, daffodil, forsythia all blooming nicely. It got cold so early last fall I didn't get anything done. So now I really am tired from 'Fall' clean up!

Don't I know it! What did we have, about a month and a half off?

I don't think I am going to much of anything for at least two more weeks. We are forecast to have more snow tonight and tomorrow morning. Like it was just a spring "tease"

Gonna de-sod a chunk of yard this weekend so I can get as much of the wire grass out. Then hopefully I'll get it tilled in a couple if weeks and can start planting or transplanting.

Have a bunch of seedlings started and watching them grow has helped me shakeoff the winter blues.

DaphneLady.. if what you're pulling is really bermuda,what you call wire grass, you'll be doing yourself and your back a whole huge favor by not tilling which makes hundreds of each grass plant.
