So my housemate has a pitcher plant and accidentally knocked off one of the pitchers. I was wondering if it is possible to take this downed pitcher and propagate it somehow into growing a whole new pitcher plant.

It looks kind of like one of these guys: {{gwi:564704}}

All I have is the pitcher itself and part of the stem, no leaf.
