VFT dormancy
I have had over ten plants that went dormant and die on me this year. That is about 15% of all of the plants that have gone dormant. I still have more dormant plants to go.
The ones in the fridge are doing better this year. Probably because the cold tempereature is preventing them from dieing.
For some reason, this year many of the plants have stayed dormant for such a long time that they have began to die.
Sometimes it is difficult to prevent a plant from diying after going dormant.
There are some good experiments I would like to do next year and see if it helps.
In the wild, the soil becomes more acidic when in dormancy. I am wondering if I would water with acidic water those plants that are dormand I could prevent most of this problem from happening.
Has any one done any experiments with Supertrive and dormancy??
