oh, but can they be grown epephyticaly in cultivation?
and do they only grow if there is debri caught in the tree or can they grow like orchids and bromeliads?

There's not much debris in the pictures I've seen. Unfortunately I can't find those pictures now. I haven't tried growing them this way but I would think it can be done if the humidity is kept high enough to keep exposed roots from drying out. If you really want to see if it can be done you would need a rather large enclosure or a mister running frequently. I'd start with a very cheap plant like a ventrata from lowes. Having so many plants (not so much carnivores) I can't put the time or space into this kind of project at this time.
