WANTED: Info on Jackmannii Clematis

I exchanged seeds for this Clematis and can not seem to get the seeds to germinate, is there anyone out there who can give me some advice. Please email if you can help. I am now down to my last 8 seeds and hopefully will be able to start at least one.

I read that they can take a long time...sometimes up to a year! I have one planted and I am still waiting...after 3 months.

I have not tried to grow them from seed, but I am thinking about it. Here is a link I found with a lot of info about growing clematis from seed.

A year is not unusual for clematis seed.

I have a plant growing for two years now. No blooms just leaves boo hoo. I am ready to throw in the garbage along with ny other clematis. I have babied them too much. I researched them and they are still not happy. Maybe I will put them by the mailbox out front and forget them. Can you tell I am so frustrated...........
