April blooms - Part II

I thought it was too hot in Texas for clematis - until I saw some on a garden tour, climbing up through roses and small trees. My oldest are 6 yrs old now, and I try to add a few new ones each year.

Asao is in a lot of shade, so I don't get a lot of blooms, but they're so charming.

Miss Bateman climbs up through a Red Cascade rose, not blooming yet, unfortunately.
