I moved my Hagley Hybrid to a better location but it suffered from the relocation. I need to prune it back to encourage stronger growth but I'm not sure where to trim or whether I should trim at all. It has only one wood stem coming out of the ground that is 12 inches long with no leaves. From that grew a 17 inch stem (with leaves). Then at the end it splits into two healthy growing stems. Should I just leave it alone and prune in the spring?
