Gary and Kat that is a clematis pitcheri that I got from Dan at Brushwood last spring. It arrived with that flower on it last spring and I was tickled pink. Wasn't trying to be a tease--just show that you can post pictures here if you have your photos stored on a site that allows direct image linking. Sorry for the delay in response but I was out of town for my mom's birthday from early Friday until just a couple of hours ago.

Is posting pics in the gallery different?

It can be BorS. If you look at those postings there that have a picture pop up when you open the thread, those were added via direct image linking from Photobucket or some similar site. There are others however, like the first or second one from the top where you open the post and there is a wording of Image Link and you have to click there. Those I believe are hosted via uploading to the Hortiplex collection as shown below:

Please Note: If you are posting an image of a plant and know its name, uploading it through GardenWeb's HortiPlex plant database allow others to locate it by name or via your personal journal, and the image will automatically be posted to the gallery as well.

If you look at the posting about sweet autumn clematis which is at the top of the list of postings right now, and you click on the link to the image of the picture, at the top of the screen that pops up, you will see a web address that refers back to a garden web page that I believe is part of the Hortiplex gallery.
