That is a beautiful brug. I love the color combination. Does the inner skirt drop?
Karyn

I like that one too. The bi-color ones are pretty rare from what I have seen.

Karyn from the picture from seed sprout : YES. Unfortenately I have not gotten to see it yet. Blame it on the heat. I can already tell that everything is doing better because of the cooler nights now. But I think this blossom is still in the baby stages and will continue to open more.
So far no smell.

So far I only went and bought things from how they look.
There is so much more. But I got to learn a lot more about them first before I would ever get into rare kinds. Or hard to keep or grow.

Already made to many mistakes I think by not watching out for heat resistant once. Cause some I think are just not ment to grow here in TX.

ok I wish everybody a good night and hope the worries will ease up as does Gustav hopefully.

Lucy

Mine has dropped a few buds due to heat but usually the inner skirt has dropped down on the ones that make it. LM seems to be a good heat performer for being a double for me here.

Lucy,
LM. is so pretty!
Thank you for sharing!

Karen

Thanks Karen.
SJN is right. the inner skirt dropped over night. Updated the pictures.
But I have been moving it to a mostly shady place because once the sun hits it. The leaves do not recover as quickly as some other brugs. Since it is in the shady place. It has not lost anymore buds.

Thanks everyone for peeking on what I might be able to share one day ;-)

Lucy

So Pretty, Lucy! Hope your buds hang on and make a ton more!
Theresa

I love those blooms ! It sure is pretty. Is it fragrant ?

That is a beauty Luzia! I am going to have to get one of those next season. Wishing you many beautiful blooms.

Theresa I would already be tickled pink if she gets ONE fully developed perfect blossom :-)
Edna I have been sticking my long nose in there. But so far nothing. Maybe if the yellow part opens some more. HOpefully in the morning.
Eloise yes she is a pretty one. Got it from seed sprout thou and they are not doing business right now. Maybe they open next season again. That's why I said I need this one to grow so I can spread the joy with cuttings lol
Lucy

What an appropriate name, "Lemon Meringue". Be something if it developed a lemon scent. Really pretty. Bicolors are so interesting.

Deb

GG, she is very pretty! Thanks for sharing :)

now you guys are making me hungry lol
This morning the yellow part had turned white. Took a picture but have not uploaded it yet. Then I peaked inside that one and there is MORE in there. But white. That would make it FOUR. Cause the first one I took off because of extreme damage to that skirt.
Still no smell tonight.

That one is so cute. Reminds me of a daffodil, lol.

I finally took the time today to make a list on the brugs I have so far. What they are and color. If single double or triple.
But the Lemon Meringue is on four skirts. But what I like to share with you all that do not know her and might end up with one, one of these days.
It goes like this. The skirt comes out yellow. Turns white. While the next one peeks out yellow. drops and turns white and so on. Also has a very mild mild smell. Lemon? I am not sure lol

Wow, Lucy, a quad? Is it suppose to be a quad? That's amazing. I think it's a pretty one with the yellow and white.

Ok, I gotta find something to trade you some of that later on if I get my mite issue resolved, lol.

Kristy you just say the word...you NEVER have to find anything. Anyways....you are on my list of :have to share with a special person!
