Just wondering how much spacing should I be leaving between plants. Last year I was bitten by the clematis bug and I started been putting them in all over the place.

I planted 3 of them at the head of my pond. I put in Mme Julia Corrovan and then about 3 feet to the left of Julia, I have Alpina Willy and then another 3-4 feet to the left of Willy, I put in Rosea. Do you think there is enough room between these guys, or should I move them?

I have them up against a stockade fence - I am going to let Rosea sprawl over the ground while Willy and Julia will be growing up on the fencing.
