This is not a Charles Grimaldi

This brug is marked Charles Grimaldi. Well it's definitely not and I have no idea what it is. Who knows what else is mislabeled in my yard.

I like the pink one, the night shots of it look kind of lavender!

    Karyn-
I love the squirrel- and is that a ginger I see? If so, which one? The rest of your flowers are gorgeous, even if some turned out to be noids.... (I know you're dissapointed!)
    Thanks for sharing-

It might not be a CG but it is a beautiful NOID Karyn! Sorry it is not a CG! See, I would not even know if it was not until I post something here and you would come back and say, it is not what I thought it is. Right Kristy lol.
Now in a few years I hope I will be better at knowing what what looks like.

    but everything is just beautiful.

I can not recognize the critter on the fence. HELP ...glad he does not have red eyes on top of it lol.

Can you tell I am starting to feel better hahahahahaha

Thanks for sharing those nice shots of your garden treasures.

Wow I do not think our squirls here have white chests. Now that you mentioned it...sure looks like one lol

Karyn, you have such green thumb, your flower always look so pretty, and I am jealous, you always have cool looking critters.

I'll send mine to you so you can have a little friend for him, lol. Beautiful flowers. I wish one of my noids would turn out like yours, lol. Not a CG for sure, lol. What is the blueish one that looks like an iris sort of and the one after the iochroma? The ginger is beautiful. I can't wait for mine to bloom. Only my white has bloomed so far and not nearly as well as normal. I guess it was the funky weather.

Kristy, the purple iris looking one is water hyacinth! Karyn, that is gorgeous ,it looks like it has fine glitter all over it! I have a whole pond full & not one bloom!
Everything is beautiful!Nice surprise on the CG!LOL

That was one freaky squirrel. I'm kind of glad it was in my neighbors yard. It was watching me the whole time I was in the shade house. They don't cause nearly as many problems as the !@#$ chipmunks! Theresa the only way you can get the water hyacinth to bloom is if it's crowded. I take a piece of twine and tie it around the whole mat of hyacinths in Aug. By then they've already taken over the pond and have been thinned several times.

I like your not-CG and the yellow noids Karyn!

Karyn, Do you keep the WH over the winter? I have a tub full of them & I moved some to the big bird bath when they started crawling out of the tub. I thought about dropping a couple small ones in the aquarium.

I toss them all in the compost pile and buy new ones in the spring. I usually buy 2 for each pond and have to start throwing some away within a month because they spread so fast. The light isn't bright enough in my fish tanks to keep them growing. I tried it one year and the foliage began to die and I was afraid it would rot. I just have regular aquarium lights. I used to use high intensity bulbs when I had marine tanks. Those bulbs were as expensive as my HID grow lights!

Ahah, that explains it, lol. I can't buy them here. But I do have some. I spread them out because the fish didn't have anywhere to hide so I need to group them back up again. Looks like I will be smuggling them in again in the spring. I had some in a tank with a bunch of tadpoles and they ate them all I guess or they didn't have enough direct sun. They just slowly disappeared.
